Be interesting to see if Seawind makes these changes on other boats. After all, most of the other owners won't have a Sailing channel documenting their experience as new Seawind owners.

Love this journey of yours. I know in your videos you've underlined the merits of both single hull and Cats. In your opinion, overall is a single hull "easier" than a cat? If it is does , does the "livability" of the make it worth it?

Hi Nick and Terysa. Thanks for a great video. It is very pleasing to hear that your baptism of fire has been taking care of from the boat builder. Big ups to SeaWind for not only being a top company but being exceptional partners in their new boat and you guy's as new owners. The best boat..car..truck on the market is the one that the company involved involved supports that product. Whew anyway lots of work done and being done, so best of luck and we look forward to you both getting back to sailing and enjoying your journey.

If you were boat #4 or 5 it'd be something I'd be upset about, but like you said, you're sort of boat 1.5 and #1 when it comes to real sailing time to find stuff. Some of that I'm a bit surprised about, since they aren't new at this, but it's a new design and even superb teams can miss things, like that patch of non slip. It's obvious in retrospect, but an easy detail to miss until someone's actually using the boat.

What wouldn't happened if you had just had the boat shipped home? That would've been vastly different. Smart move spending a few months actually sailing it not too far away from the manufacturer.
