St. Lucia is gorgeous. Unfortunately, it can get UNBEARABLY hot to me. We really enjoyed our time when we were there. We too were warned about crime in St. Lucia…it gets worse on other islands (Belize and Roatan we were directly told 'do not go alone on the island, stick with groups'). We also loved Barbados, the people were so friendly. We got invited to a party on the beach, and when we had to go, they got us a taxi right, quick, and in a hurry. AMAZING. For me, the best island I have been to is Bonaire, but diving is just about all you do there. Crime is pretty high there too. They tell you directly, that if you are renting a vehicle to go dive with, don't take any cash or wallets. Just the rental paperwork. Sure enough, our truck was broken into when we were diving, and since we didn't have anything of value they got nothing. We had our gear with us, and we wore our wetsuits to the sites. Tanks were all marked, so the criminals know they can't just 'pick them up and sell them off'. sad, but if you know, it's usually not a problem.

Love the out takes! 2 stroke outboard is a panacea, but barred here in the UK unless for commercial use. A pain in the posterior… So it's high maintenance and vibey noise I'm afraid.

Just ask a different guy, maybe someone who is just sitting on a local bench to buy the outboard and buy it from them. On paper.
