Very good idea to fit the hatch in the windscreen. I have a HR352 which has a hatch in the windscreen that can be opened (from factory), but when I bought the boat the hatch was sealed and locked (old boat). Last year I spent a fortune on new parts from Hallberg Rassy, but it was worth every penny. To have fresh air ventilating through the cockpit on hot days is such a difference! Especially I believe you will cherish this since you have another layout, and are also in tropical weather (I’m in Scandinavia). Hope you will enjoy your upgrade!

Can't say if it'll turn out important or not. But it might have been safer to have the frame being a slightly looser fit in the window to leave room for thermal expansion. On a similar note, next time you cut a hole in the mast, leave the corners radiused for less risk of cracks forming.
