Very well presented and informative. I'm not sure about the U.K. but here in the U.S., one of your larger annual cost is Property Tax, which is determined by the insured value of your boat and the local property tax rate of where the boat owner resides, not where the boat is kept. Also, if the insurance is not paid and kept valid, the insurance company notifies the government agency and the boat's registration is invalidated. All these cost are why I decided to just rent a boat as close to my destination as possible. All these headaches are someone else's, not mine. 😊
