Nice touch hearing the conversation with your Mum and your tribute to those loss from the Volcano eruption. Hopefully you want read this as a criticism but never leave your cruising chute on the foredeck when sailing, a sudden gust could blow it over the side and rap around your keel or rudder. I know you probable had it tied down but the wind has a nasty habit undoing knots.
