It is NEVER "get it right this time" in France. OH MON DIEU!!! You filled out your papers with a BLACK PEN!?!?!? Redo the whole 50 applications and wait another 50 years before you reapply. You'd only get it worse if you entered through Italy but that's a story that I cannot tell without using bad words.

Personally I think Australians (except Abbott and Morisson) should have permanent citizenship in every country. One, they do little harm (unless "pissed as farts" after their team loses in "footie".) And two, unlike other immigrants, you KNOW they'll leave eventually.
