I watch in complete admiration. I have sanded all the paint off and am starting longboarding my 42ft hull and boy, there are times when I have to wonder why make so much effort and take so much time just to make the boat look perect? After all it doesn't really effect performance. I think maybe it's a bit mad..

All that sanding is not fun. The longboard is called a torture board in some boat building circles because it is a very painful operation.
