Hi James, great to meet you while you were here, nice to see our Mardi Gras next to you. It took another week or so for us to get back in the water but it has been a great summer sailing around the Hauraki Gulf. You are so right about the crew at Quayside Boatyard, Martin, Ari and Aaron run a fantastic yard, such an amazing spot to be and work on your boat.

The other colorful bird you mention was most likely the Eastern Rosella common locally around that area with kookaburra.
