One way to reduce runs and splatters when spray painting is to keep your finger on the trigger and/or start pressing the trigger when you are off the part being sprayed. I'd say red would be awesome, but would it make you more of a target for thieves, etc.?

Red does fade fast, almost any colour would be better than white. Two pack polyurethane is a much better looking finish than gel coat and easier to keep clean. Keep up the good work but don’t get to pedantic.

You might want to consider what the color is going to do inside the cabins as far as radiant heat from the sun is concerned .the darker the color the warmer the inside could become . A nice lighter color will reflect the suns rays a little better thus keeping the inside cooler and your air conditioning won’t work as hard ,, allegedly . You probably already knew this I hope .

Great progress! I like the idea of red - this will definitely stand out wherever you go. TIP: the yellow paint pouring guard is designed to be installed on the INSIDE lip of the paint can, not the outside.
