So Turkey doesn't have a navy that can put supplies on beaches? What about Egypt, Italy, Greece or the UK? All much closer. Guess either 1) the Israelis only trust the Americans; 2) only the Americans are willing to get stuck in this open ended mission; 3) those delays of several weeks are a feature, not a bug.

None of this is the USA's business. We have problems (many caused by the government) here, which no one wants to do anything about.
US Army used to have its own trains and rail cars too. I don't know if is still has those trains. I know it still has rail cars.
