  1. Congratulations on your passage that was a long one you're also becoming quite a good fisherman You have me wondering about that avocado Oil in the brownies I will have to try that Thank you for sharing those beautiful smiles and we look forward to seeing you next week

  2. Congratulations! I've been watching since Panama. NICE Tuna, great brownies in the middle of the saltwater. I've never thought about being apprehensive about stepping on land after sailing for 31 days. But I guess it's like Kevin Costner in the movie Water World. He finally made it to land, only to leave soon, and that's why you guys are sailors. Again, congrats.

  3. Congratulations on completing your 4,200 mile crossing leg in the Pacific! I discovered your channel a couple of months ago and I have since caught up with all your content. Your opening sequences are very well done, with a great mix of video, stills, graphics, and a catchy theme song. Your productions effectively tell the story of your adventures as individuals and as a family. I appreciate that you are sharing your journey with viewers. Your videos feature excellent footage, a variety of music that complements the scenes, and are skillfully edited together. You paint a more honest and real picture of cruising life. It's impressive that you were able to maintain a weekly posting schedule using Starlink in the middle of the Pacific. Keep up the fantastic work!

  4. I have watched and lived vicariously through several youtube travelers. Some have been fantastic (La Vagabond, Wynns, Nahoa, Red Seas etc.) and some have very good but stopped producing videos (Folsom Ocean Views) and some are entertaining but still haven't caught my full attention. You guys are definitely on my radar every week. Keep up the videos, your doing great!

  5. THIRTY DAYS!?!??! ON A CAT!? Were you rowing all the way? Geezus! I've seen Stan Huntington designs cross the Pacific in less!!!

PS I really like the wooden cockpit doors on your cat though. Last remnants of "old school" before catamarans became mainstream.

  6. 2:25 That's actually a nice fish! Funny how some cruisers catch fish all the time and some complain they can't catch anything. INVEST IN GOOD LURES!!!! Tunas don't bite on anything under 25 bucks.

  7. 8:49 Welcome back, GRINCH! But yes… no, you didn't cross the Pacific. In fact you didn't even cross a third of it. 🙂 Thanks, Frenchies, for having colonies everywhere.

  8. 3:49 I can't imagine the ever vigilant ( 😀) Megan didn't mention how dangerous this particular episode was. You've BARELY missed a collision with a whale. AND NOBODY WAS EVEN AT THE HELM!!! You know what a whale can do to a small boat? Mucho dolor! Seriously, people, WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!!!

  9. 4:50 WHAT!? Dios mio! (Why I speak so much Spanish today?) How many good eggs you threw away because they didn't float!!! Some eggs float when they are good. The best way to test them is to break them in a separate cup and smell.

  10. 8:00 Woooo, LOVE those. The funnest part in waves like that is to watch the speedo. I once saw 23 knots when sliding down one of those thingies. KABOOM! Had to pump out 15 tons of water from the boat after but it was still FUN… many years later. 😀

PS It's in waves like that you realize that even catamarans need gimballed stoves!!!

  11. Welcome to Fatu Hiva! It means "unusual cliff(s)" in Polynesian. Fun fact – it's the only island in Polynesia where cannibalism was practiced. Good luck! 😀
