I suspect the Titanic 2 would not follow the route of the original ship which although shorter takes it into the Labrador current and icebergs. Plus with radar hitting an iceberg would be a pretty minimal risk. And they could remember to not forget binoculars.

I can see the appeal of being on a replica of that historic ship but I’d give it a pass mostly because I’m unlikely to ever do a cruise, not for safety issues. Sailing on its replica makes a whole lot more sense and is much safer than paying lots of money to see the wreck of the original. I think many people would do it.
