Good afternoon guys..
Two types of anchoring when we have winds from the bow that exceed 20 m/s and as long as there are NO mooring buoys.
1. Anchoring at Barba de Gato (Cat Beard) using 2 anchors separated between 20 and 40 meters, making an equilateral triangle and anchoring the chain and rope.

2. Make an elbow, anchor the anchor and a rope will emerge from it towards the stern making a 45⁰ triangle with respect to the anchor, the boat remains perpendicular to the wind and the rocking disappears.

Another great episode!!!!!! Little too sporty for momma Shineummm let’s talk about the tongue shot lmao! I almost had to pause it because both Dad and I were giggling so hard. I am amazed at the small spaces that Jay can wiggle himself into, I'm not flexible enough now to be able to do that. That part coming apart was probably "Sitka" just testing her crew to make sure they were still paying attention to her and her needs. Hope the summer of 2024 is good to you, and you are able to accomplish all that you need and want to.
