My husband and I have a boat for inland lakes and rivers and the moment we hit the water clothes come off all of them but I do keep a top handy if water patrol comes around but we pretty much have no tan lines. Have met a few friends like that guys seem to love saying hi and a couple females as well.

"On the Earth", often we are forced to wear swimsuits because nudity is often forbidden. But on a boat, we can do what we want! As far as I'm concerned, I would certainly weare swimsuits. What's the utility? Which pleasure does it bring?! Nudity = liberty and wellness.
