I'm not really sure how you took 12 hours from the harbour to Pittwater-<del>I've done this trip dozens and dozens of times on everything from a Mottle 32 to high performance cats. It looks like you were in a classic NE seabreeze and sure it was hard on the nose but it should not have taken that long. Looking at your sheeting angle--from what I can see-</del> the jib car perhaps could be moved back so that the foot and leech of your jib is setting better.. Not sure about your sheet tension- is there any way to bring the jib sheet closer to the centre line of the boat? To take that long, one thought is the boat was not going to windward that well angle wise, ie, can she go closer to the wind? Also, reef. in 25 knots I'd have two reefs in on a cat and one on a mono-- the boat will sail better, often faster, it will be far more comfortable, easier on the gear and probably less leeway if you're not leaning over so far...
You really got moving at some stages. Hot air balloons and boating, the wind can be with you or it can be the determinator of your destination. Good thing with boating, you have the motor XD <3 Awesome video!
