Very informative. Thank you for putting this together. One question: You mentioned the certification was eventually given as follows: two coastal skippers, two day skippers, and one crew. Congratulations. However, I wasn't clear if the decision of the level of certification was made by the instructor based on student assessment, or if it was simply the case that in that group, that is what the students came and paid to be trained on. Can you explain why some received one certification while others got a different one?

Thank you Bostjan this was really helpful as Im looking next year to do the coastal Skipper. Can I ask if you had already completed the day Skipper ? I see you used 7 Seas sailing? would you recommend them, do they use the same instrutors or are they contracted in ?
