Why does the system have a steering lock? What is it designed to do?
What happens when you are flying down 4 – 6 metre waves (which you will at some stage coming back to NZ) and your steering "Locks"? You won't have the luxury of "turning slowly".
Please look into it.
Perhaps removing the sensor to stop the locking might be a good safety move? I don't know but please let us all know what the design feature is meant to achieve.

I'm weeks behind in watching videos but I wanted to make a suggestion. I noticed when you used a mooring ball that you only used one line when attaching to the pendant. After you've picked up the pendant, route a second line through the eye of the pendant and tie it off to the opposite bow cleat. That will help keep the boat centered on the mooring ball.
