What most ignorant people dont understand…….it’s going cost you tens of thousands of dollars to maintain an old yacht!
HVAC, Thrusters, engines, old wiring, hull cleaning & management. Don’t be fooled, this is a hole in the water you pour money into. oh by the way if you don’t have your own dock…$$$$.

First: I was born in 1937. When I was growing up on the Hudson River in those days (My Dad had a succession of boats culminating after WWII with a surplus CG 83 footer). THE yacht basin at the time was the 79th Street Basin in Mnahattan. Tied up permantly on the Norht facing was the yacht ORION a Feedship of 150' length and on the South facing was a 125' Trumpy beloning to the Corps of Army Engineers. The 79th street yach basin was also our primary source for the diesel fuel on Dad's 52' Wheeler (1,200 gals). The 83 footer carried 3, 500 gals.

The garbage disposal was invented in 1927 by John Hammes of Wisconsin. It did not become publicly available until 1940. I looked that up just for you.

Nice video on a beautiful boat anybody would love to have it and be on it the problem is keeping it running an excellent condition and all the maintenance required and everything is going to be done for it you can spend half a million dollars a year on that boat just taken care of it and doing the maintenance cabinet spotless keeping it running they are not affordable boats do you want to spend some serious money buy a boat and if you want to spend a lot more money buy a Learjet plane and then you got money to burn lighter cigars with hundred-dollar bills no problem
