Thanks for the tour of the new Saxdoor. A lot to like, but I find some features almost too clever – they sort of get in your way. Very much not a fan of the lack of convenient access to side decks for hanging fenders. A lot of competition in the "commuter" niche – Axopar, Wellcraft, Nimbus, Juneau and Windy to name some. I think the American Boston Whaler 380 Realm competes well, although it's a much heavier, more expensive boat. The Tiara 43 LS is a fine competitor also.
Best of both Worlds.
That is a cracking boat, so flexible with the different configurations and nicely finished off, I was surprised when you showed us the rear cabin, It handled brilliantly out at sea, it did not appear to struggle at all just looked smooth and capable. Definitely a boat to consider in this price range. Great video Hugo thank you.
Great vlog Hugo and what a super boat. Uk and Med use yr round. Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant review Hugo of a very impressive boat. Pleased to see it handling the Solent so well.
I’d want a cuppa waiting for the aft window to lift 😆
66 litres an hour at 16 knots – exactly the same as my Swift Trawler 34 (only I’m buying cheaper diesel….)
However, if I try really hard (downhill) I’ve maxed at 21 knots…
Nice boat, great review as ever. Has the boat been antifouled? The hull looks as if it’s been in the water a week unprotected. And can you Drystack it? I know the 32 will Drystack – but is this a step too far?
That window is so slow it removes some of the luxury feel.
four adverts in 22 min video – takes the edge off the enjoyment of a well put together review
Really nice boat, the rear lifting window would be better manually operated though. ❤️🇬🇧
She is an all rounder with her cabins, drop down balconies, smallish heads. Clever use of seats. A great day or weekend boat for all weathers with the close or open wheelhouse. Sleeps 4 comfortable. A good boat with great agility dorys what it says on the tin. Like her.
I could live on that boat.
I don't like the rearward slanting front windows. They looked cool in the 80's, but they are heat gatherers and look dated by now. Trawler-style rulez!

Thank you Hugo, gosh…that boat is like a Japanese puzzle box….well done on showing us all the features…can’t have been easy. Love it…
Awesome boat so many great ideas come to life would love to see a cat version of this boat between 4045 foot. I think that would be much room awesome to see built.
Thanks Hugo, great review and really helpful to view a sea trial in real life weather conditions 👍
What country are you testing in?

Is it just me or has the intro now a straight copy of yacht buyers script??
67 liters per hour at 16 knots. Does the boat come with a tanker? Nice looking boat though.
18:20 Get another knot or two if you clean the hull 🤣
I have one on order through Neville, Ideal Boats, who have been great. I was glad to see your review and comments on the boat, particularly the doors and frame. Your comment on the boat being great all around and for all seasons is why I bought it. Nice to hear this from someone with more experience than I. I just need to figure out a system for the blinds for privacy and sun protection as I intend to use mine for longer adventures. Any suggestions are warmly welcome. Great video and thank you.
Sleeping areas suitable for hobbit s with small size feet. They don't wear shoes or for Dracula on his way from transylvania to England. Recommended by psychotherapist so they can charge to cure claustrophobia in hobbits.
Fuel consumption stated ~= 1.2 mpg (1 US) or 196 L/100 km.
I would prefer everything manual operated vs electric motors
❤❤❤
really adds to your content having a dedicated cameraman 🙂
