The Greeks win either way, the people are not guilty and they are well behaved or they are guilty and they won't be back any time soon. If someone is an oligarch you would think they'd have the money for a barge to launch fireworks from so it doesn't set anything on fire. That's what a lot of cities/towns do by the ocean.

What a legalese way of saying "I can't say, flat-out "No, we did not start the fire" because that would be factually incorrect", so you have to do the Bill Clinton thing of elongating answers, obfuscating truths and leaving open to interpretation what "actions" that "lead to a fire" really means (and this will differ from person to person, i.e. setting off fireworks on a sandy, open beach may not lead to fire in most reasonable peoples minds, but setting off fireworks on a beach right next to scrub and trees would). He's also only saying that the VIP guests didn't ask anyone else (crew etc) to start a fire (or cause a fire to be started). That doesn't mean the VIP's didn't start the fire themselves, without crew help. It's hardly a rebuttal, indeed, it's subtly incriminating.

Excuse me, but how is the sighting of a person, likely Persefoni's crew, in turnout gear evidence of lying? It's evidence of intent to fight a fire, not of igniting one. Do you accuse all firemen of lying?

Try not to make too many excuses, you made a statement about your situation and then kept repeating how inadequate your production was. It doesn't look good to do that over and over again.
