Very nice to see a sail boat but i prefer motors and you going to get a lot of stick about that glory hole 🕳 lol

  • @anto687

Great tour, always nice to see an "I'll edit that out later" too 😀

What a beautiful sail boat. I love the electric motor idea. Though the concern for me is how dangerous the batteries might be. Like the ekectric cars that somehow get water into their batteries or have a bad short due to an accident and the car burns into the asphalt because the fire departments have no way to extinguish them if the start burning and are forced to water the local areas around the car to keep that from starting on fire as well and let it burn itself out.
Can you imagine being off the coast, hours from rescue and your battery bursts into flames?
I would rather have an electric motor powered by generator as the electric motors are more efficient and push more power to the shafts because they require no transmission. Just an on/off switch and a throttle to increase and decrease the power. You can shut them down with no issues and if you are in a really bad storm and your stern keeps coming out of the water, the turning of the shaft is not going to damage the nonexistent transmission or the electric motor, as to stop the shaft turning all you have to do is reduce power to zero when it comes up and shove the throttle forward when it goes back down.

I am also watching another youtube channel. They as a couple travelling with this yacht and I was always curious about the yacht itself. After a week I just saw the tour video of that yacht on my favourite channel. Big thanks to you because you made me love yachting and I cannot stop watching 🙂 thank you for the video !! Greetings from Turkey

I would not want to work in that galley in any kind of sea. Apart from that, it is a well thought out cruising yacht at a reasonable price.

  • @Iantempleman

That aft locker looks hazardous when tacking. Just blocks the helmsman from going between the wheels.

  • @livingwithosteoarthritis.

Nick do you do the DIY back at your house? I bet you get a man who can in. Or even a lady. Another great video

  • @M.J.S.83

The heads in the owners suite had what looked like a pull up, stick shower head in it as well, like they have in smaller boats.

Hi Nick,Thats nice to see a sailboat again on your channel some time ago and with this time a Dufour 470 with a lot off space onboard 3 bedrooms one ensuite and one shared the galley in the middle rare but very nice enough head space when you are tall big cockpit and all the winches electric great Thanks Nick great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • @saolinc

Gap between the biminis is so you can watch the sails while helming/trimming.

Much Prefer the Moody 48 DS. I know you did a review of the 21 DS a few years back but the newer model is the dogs dodahs

It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir because I don't know how to sail I prefer motor yachts, but if I did know how too this sub 50fter is a little stunner to have I'd be very happy, what a great layout and plenty of options, top find as ever sir. Nick I'm curious, every time that you do something stupid//silly like breaking something on a Galeon or trying to close a 2nd hatch before closing the 1st hatch you famously say "I'll edit that out later" (one of the lines in the Aquaholic drinking bingo game, like Contemporary or little ship feel etc)do you ever actually edit out something because it is so stupid//silly 🤔 just curious, anyway all the best from Cornwall 🤗👍✌️

  • @CJ-ok7rk

Stunning. Ah just spotted a problem, a 1.5l Vodka bottle won't fit in the storage.🤣

  • @mohammednadeemanwar2213

Gorgeous yacht, brilliant saloon amd galley. Beautifully fitted out. Thank you Nick for showing this wonderful sail boat. 👍👍

  • @simonbarnard1861

Is it just me who can smell these videos? The teak, the fibreglass resin in lockers, carpet and then move to engine space?

  • @vlachyna

Hlavně mi neříkej, ze to budu mít taky 😂😂😂😅🎉

    Pořad me stojíte peníze 😂😂😂😂

Pořád…. Kazdej rok jsou to vysoký desetitisíce 😂😂😂😅🎉

Za to cestování jste me taky stali spousty peněz…

Celej svět se rad dozví, jak je to možný… jak je možný, ze státní struktura neustále nekoho okrádá o peníze 😂😂😂😂

    Všichni pořad čekáme…

  • @Kim_Jensen

So lovely sailing yacht, with lots of room for family and/or friends 🙂 Thanks for a cozy tour😃

  • @ianlawrence92

I would have thought the split bimani would be so you can see the main sail when it’s up.

  • @ianlawrence92

So you can have an electric motor that would charge from the generator. Guessing that’s diesel?? So what’s the point of an electric motor 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ surely solar panels would be better for charging.

  • @Rodrifuuu

I don't understand why anyone is still buying just a regular combustion engine when they could have electrical + generator which not only is more efficient but breaks down less often. Cheaper, cleaner.

  • @davidrichardson5163

As a yachtsman I'm always pleased to see the different layouts of modern yachts, although I regard hull windows as more of a liability than an asset.

  • @jamiecoyne1494

High spech but could have got struts that didn’t come apart to access the water maker

  • @wencelaus

Can you please share how power wenchers work in your next boat video? Really curious😊
