Why don't you ever test 40 to 50 foot semi displacement boats, would make a change from planning boats. It's also about time all builders put fuel fillers on one side of the boats, it's common sense.

If money wasn't a factor, what speed-boat would you recommend for navigating the Aegean sea irrespective of season and weather conditions, one which could accommodate a family of five? Living on a boat I mean.

Fine tour, looks at all aspects of the Absolute. It is a very cleverly designed boat, and I really appreciate the access to technical spaces in the small guest stateroom. There is a ton of accommodation packed into the boat, very roomy galley/salon and owner/VIP staterooms, but there are tradeoffs for that. The bow is quite plump, and I would be surprised if the ride doesn't become "sporty" when running into a head sea over one or two foot high. The side decks are a bit cramped, and the engine room is decidedly cramped by placing the gen set between the Volvo's. But those tradeoffs will be acceptable to many buyers.
