12. Just watching your video from Suwarrow right now, and you are standing at the Ranger station looking at the collection of books. You were definitely not alone. At 23:29, there is a critter disappearing into the books. (pretty sure it was a mouse) Erica, you didn't scream or comment on it so you I'm guessing you didn't see it. 15. I like a lot of "me" time and space, but I could handle the isolation for a month or two if I had a source of food, shelter, a camera, and internet. I think no means of contact would scare me the most.

I think earlier I mentioned that the park Gov. was spreading poison bait to kill rat infestation a second time recently which concerned me when you saw a mouse in the books, it would kill it also. Gov. website said crabs won’t eat poison. Another YouTube boat was there a few months ago, a couple like you, in horrible weather and the rangers were there. Anyone remember who it was? I follow them but forget name. So hoping rangers alive and left due to the poisoning of all the islands heavily since rats didn’t die the first attempt to eradicate. Kind a scary about the food chain because somethings going to eat the rats, maybe birds, and I don’t know what will eat the birds if they hopefully don’t fall in the water. Pretty cool being there after reading history. There was other food in the book, thought he brought or rounded up wild chickens that escaped his coop once or twice? Always storm damage to something shack or cage he built. Been ages last read the book. Do you remember that and what he salvaged off the wrecked boat that arrived? Hope you got a good weather window.

19. Yeah, I think the isolation of where you are would mess with my head a bit. You are 2000 miles away from New Zealand and that seems like a galaxy away if you're on a boat. 20. Zero chance of living by myself like that. I agree with Warren that the most freedom you really want is to sail about places. Interact socially but pull away for a day or week here and there.

24. I agree, you probably “could” survive on the island by yourself, but wouldn’t want to. I’d love to visit with a boat that has the modern conveniences.
