YAY.. It's sit down and have a beer time and watch Jeff's show, life is good ❤️😃😃 Well I'll use any excuse to have a beer 🤣🤣👍🤘👌
Wow! That was really very interesting. You certainly don't do things by halves, do you? I'm looking forward to following your journey on this.
Great video. I would suggest you need some ribbon or similar on your wind indicator as it just shows direction, to give an indication of speed.
oh good lord . now you have gone down the rabbit hole followed by the fox and the ferret 🤣🤣🤣 bench is another ball game to be fair one i love but one that frustrates the life out of me . one mm can make the difference between hero and zero on the paper . your firing style has to be on point and absolutely consistent every shot . one’s ability to focus has to be iron clad . and your kit preparation has to be bang on . but the wind oh good lord reading the wind and seeing patterns in the wind and what your gun or should i say pellet does at a given distance and direction and speed . that is a whole different ball game . that’s of course if you want to be mega competitive in the sport . does not have to be quite that intense 🤪🤪🤪🤪
Jeff, facinating, you have me hooked on this new adventure, looking forward to the next installment. Bench rest has always eluded me but now I am beginning to understand with your help. Cheers 🙂
Great video. It was nice to meet you at Petes.
Good video, will be waiting for more
Great video Jeff. I'm looking forward to see how you get on with this new project. This is something I'm trying to get into myself and it will be interesting to see how you get on. Any chance of links to download your 17cm targets once you have them finalised please, as I'm struggling to find 17cm targets for benchrest practice and I don't have the skills to design them myself.
What pellets did you do the initial test with?
nice vid with some great info 😁
nice vid mate, looks good, updates would be great, still sorting out my own BR set-up too…..
😎
Welcome to the mad house! Grams grow in importance from now on😂
So that gun is no longer in production so I contacted Pomona Airguns here in the US, I ordered the XTi50 Blk Laminate LH. OH my Credit Card is going to HATE ME!!!
Hi again, one thing I’ve also being doing is using a stabilus hole stencil to measure my group sizes, shooting 25 targets with 3 shot groups, then taking the average to determine pellet selection. I’m only using a 14X prismatic scope, as I’m only trying to improve my plinking. Bipod and rear bag similar to yours. Cheers from John.
I would have gone for the sentinel mate
Great video I'm also starting in the benchrest .Check this, I think u will like. Amazon sliding table, X/Y precision sliding table. Looking forward for new videos.
I use brass cleaning corn cob media to fill my bags. It is light and fills out all of the spaces nicely.
Im an admin on the Airability group. The sightron fixed mag scope is a fantastic bit of kit. I shoot 50 m br in the states. Keep up the good work and videos.
Tom Jacobs makes some fantastic wind flags in the Uk. I have a set in the states from him. An older set from a couple years ago. The newer flags are fantastic and i am looking forward to upgrading my kit as soon as I hear back from Tom Jacobs and Matthew Gleaves .
Tom is also making a coaxial rest which will be sourced completely in the uk for all the uk shooters out there. It is set to compete with the likes of seb and cicognani.
Dump the long intro! Showing your age.
Have you checked the rifle weight allowance for 25M bench rest? 4.5Kg, what's your AA FTP900 weigh?
Light rifle is 4.5Kg and heavy rifle is 6.8Kg. Have the CTSA updated their rules lately?
Thanks. I now know that benchrest shooting is not for me.
Forgot to ask did you enjoy the DayState experience I did say hello. Was you tempted by any at all
