Not quite sure how people entertain Facebook period, but his hypocrisy is a disgrace. Probably because of how utterly unpopular he is.
I think again it is all to do with asking and paying a fee to withhold the AIS data to be broadcasted on the internet on I suppose the worlds most used maritime traffic AIS website/ App. So it doesn’t mean that they are ignoring maritime law as they are no law telling you that such data must be broadcasted on the internet but rather to a localised area where the vessel is operating for collision avoidance at sea.
MarineTraffic is also giving sometime wrong data more often than other providers. I have had my boat showing in another country when in fact it was still at home berthed and this seems to have happened to a few. But maybe less with commercial AIS signals than small recreational craft AIS.
Zuckerberg is one of the tribe, so rules don't apply to him.

Zuckerberg is above the law (in his eyes). His baby face and playing dumb has served him well. He is aging and one day, he will encounter an authority who sees him for who he is. I hope, when that happens, that the authority will HAVE the authority to look deeper into his Russian connections.
