No skill or tactics except keeping the boats foiling. Everything is based on boat speed (VMG). They should just do a series of drag races and see who can maintain the best VMG and give them the cup. Sailors are irrelevant.

I am ignorant of AC history but why just go upwind/downwind? What happened to reaching to a mark?
