Hans Christians evoke romantic nostalgia and if I could bring myself to allow teak to weather, I'd have one today. I once heard a Swedish owner vent in a heavy accent that Hans Christians can "go a looooong way, and take a loooong time a-gettin' dere too!" Every vessel has a mission statement that should inform our purchases. You won't arrive first in an HC, but you'll arrive.
