I would recommend you other beautiful places in Romania, like Bicaz Gorge, Iasi, Izvorul Muntelui Lake (Bicaz Lake), Craiova, Danube Delta, Constanta, Bucovina, Maramures, Oradea, Alba-Iulia.
we were also blown away, mostly because of the rural nature Romania offers 😍

Not sure if you know but in Corvin's/Huniade's Castle, Vlad Tepes really stayed about 4 years, he was imprisoned in a dungeon during his youth. The legend says that's where he became so sadistic and where he developed his plan to protect Romania but in such a harsh manner 😉.
P.S. Next time, third visit, cause you know you'll come back 😜, try Resita, Caras-Severin and all the nature that will be provided there.

I see that in your top 10 to visit in Romania you did not include anything from the geographical regions of Moldavia and Dobruja of Romania. You just included places from what you visited yourself. But then it is very unfair to call your list "TOP 10 Places to Visit in Romania". You should call your list something like "MY TOP 10 Places to Visit in Romania BASED ONLY ON WHAT I MANAGED TO VISIT MYSELF". There are many just as beautiful places also in the other 2 Romanian geographical regions (Moldavia and Dobruja) like the Bicaz Gorge, Iași city, Bukovina with its UNESCO painted monasteries, the Danube Delta, the Black Sea coast, only to name a few… And I am saying this as a Romanian from the Romanian geographical region of Transylvania actually!
