Good luck guys . I've sat out several hurricanes🌀 since 1978 on a boat . The first was hurricane Freddy . The last was recently a few weeks ago. Fortunately i didn't sit out Katrina. It's super scary at the same time but super exciting. I hope this is the seasoning that will help you through the rest of your sailing adventures. Best of luck and stay safe. It’s just starting to hit you. I’m praying for you two. Two Helens now have changed your life ! I just heard that Hurricane Helen has grown into a Cat 4 and still strengthening ! I really hope you guys get off the boat and head to shelter inland. I’ve been through a bunch of hurricanes and the worst was barely a Cat 3. It was ridiculous how much more violent the low 3 was than the mid two’s I’ve experienced. I really don’t want to think about a high 4 or 5 ! I’m way over in the Hilliard Florida area and we’re now expecting hurricane force winds. Be safe !

Didn't know you guys were in Florida. I am currently building my boat outside. I got lucky, just a bit of wind over here.
Thank you for PRAYERS and concerns. We weathered the storm well and fine. It was a horrible one…. Just got our Starlink Reconnected, there is no power, no water, bad cellular internet.
