My opinion on the people that suggest buying an Oyster.

Seriously ?????? You can’t compare the quality, performance, reputation and longevity
of Swan with Oyster ! I would never trust my life to an Oyster built boat!!! .
The dodgy history of Oyster since its inception, tells you how the company’s run.
It’s manufacturing practices alone, should make anyone go with Swan
The only thing that I’ll give to you, is the Oysters interior design. Yes it’s nicer and laid out better in my opinion (
for comfort) where as a Swan, is built for sheer performance.
I’d buy the Swan and have Swan design the interior the wayI liked .

Comparing a Swan to an Oyster, is like comparing a Hyundai Genesis to a Mercedes AMG .

Phenomenally noisy for a quiet yacht.

Greenwashed into hypocritical oblivion.

Deck sweeping jib with guardrails makes my loose threads itch.

It’s a Swan, I can’t believe they could build this.

This is a new and astounding phenomenon in a new age of sea travel. We can now weigh down a boat superbly with diesel generators and batteries.
Without generators the boat, once the most epic of all yacht cruiser/racer marques, is entirely useless except for a bunch of tossers that use a SWAN! of all yachts, to motor for very short distances without a very slightly hard to hear motor. They can travel epic voyages in and out of their utra expensive marinas while blithering away about senseless rubbish on climatology on board yachts that use fantastic amounts of the earth's resources. Extended range? you must be kidding! Did you notice this is a sailing boat?
That headsail looks like a pillow case after a good workout.
Good salesmanship Tobes! You are the saviour of martinis being shaken on board mate.
What happened to this most authentic of all that yachting once stood for? Another technology w.nk victim that w.nkers can spend all their time indulging their meaningless superficial cr@p on. If anything happened to this extremely complex, floating piece of technological flotsam while actually going somewhere, it would be totally incapacitated.
I just really love the massive turbulence off the transom too. I reckon that shows this has a high performance sound wave that can liven up any boringly quiet yacht.! A bit like a motor boat actually.
What a sad superficial place the world has become.
