What kind of range are we talking about with you throwing the term explorer around. I see an option of an extra fuel tank to get it up to 750 gallons. Also we need to see the running gear. I don't like the idea of the props and rudders being the lowest part of the boat. I love the Aquila design and layout but the lack of fuel capacity and after seeing the Wandering Hillbilly becoming a total loss after running aground I am a bit reluctant.

Is bulbous bow only efficient at a particular speed? Most are. Does it create slap? Effect handling at low speeds? Inquiring minds need to know.
