Yes, all that you have done is extraordinary, and you deserve the very best from your efforts. From what you started with and from what it has become is almost like a fairytale that is unfolding for everyone to enjoy. All the best to you.

Yaba has the spirit of Brazil. You resurrected her and now she is alive again. She will show you things only she knows, if you let her. Let her out.

The tops of the cupboard doors need an outward chamfer so water won’t go in at that opening.

I was looking at your dingy and outboard tied off aft in the dark, potentially an easy target for thieves. A good item for your valuables is an APPLE "Air tag" tracker, it is about 25m.m. diameter , 5m.m. thick. these devices connect to any APPLE Iphone or Ipad and their position can be seen on your own phone, check Google. Also Youtube has a video on how to disable the internal beeper if necessary. I realise it wont stop it being stolen but it is traceable.

"Secret Incantation"= Yaba Daba DO , I wish I was you. Right now… Looking Good you young folk.

It will save you a lot of hassle over the years if you put up a shower curtain. It does not have to be on a circular shower rod but can be individual hooks where you attach a few of the curtain's grommets. You should add unscented bleach to your water tanks to keep algae and bugs down. You can find how many drops per litre on internet. To drink your tank water you put it in a pitcher…chlorine dissipates after 15 minutes. Salt is NaCl. It being Brazil there is probably tablets sold in every store to do this. Another great vid. Thanks.

Great video! OK, you had your fun, please finish the boat now! Time for a circumnavigation…

Finding a lone fender floating in the water must be something all sailors have done. Next: a hat!

  • @electricboatal

I think that your boat is magnificent. You have done such a remarkable restoration and improvement. I am throughly impressed. All of the new skills learned and the results are wonderful. You could do one more project if you felt like it. When you are motoring the engine is quite noisy. You could build a fairly lightweight enclosure for it that would greatly reduce the noise. Sound absorbing material is typically light in weight. I haven’t looked into what is available but I’m sure there is something that would be useful for this situation.
    Best Regards Your Pal Al.

It’s ply so couldn’t you just router out one layer!

MP, you should never keep bananas with your other fruit. They should be stored away from all other fruit as they will cause your fruit to go rotten!!! Love your videos!!!

  • @avalleyroofingify

When do we get a full walkthrough it's not really seen each room and you never mentioned the question of all this to rebuild Yaba?

  • @Valerie_Dawn

Please don't talk as you turn your head away from the camera with wind also blowing into the mic, Ben.

  • @richchester187

If you're living on a boat and flying a drone that's over the water, Surely it's crazy to do that without making the drone float. Then even if the drone dies due to the water you can at least get it back along with the sd card.

Wisdom in the council of many, yet the capitan has the final solution…m

    G'day Crew,
Cool vid guys , they keep getting better.
Great to see YABA & you guys starting to move around more ,really looking forward to future vids of more distant travel.

    Respect….!

  • @FlyingConey

Hi Ben, with a sailing ship you usually try to dock stern first to keep the bowsprit aka collision asparagus out of the way. You just need to make fast a stern line put her into gear forward and she will swing nicely to the dock. It's a very easy maneuver.

  • @Hackdaddy81

this is soo cool to see i have been watching since i seen you guys over on ODDLIFE and you guys had a few thousand followers. its been great to watch and now see you guys enjoying the hard work

  • @dodgeguyz

So, when are you going to get the deck finished! Can’t stand seeing it in its unfinished condition.

  • @yiosmukantagara

Yaba is beautiful. What is the name of a shipbuilder in Brazil that builds traditional wooden ships like Yaba? I know the place you were at just repairs them.

  • @narr0wm1nd49

Fenders on the loose are just man overboard drills waiting to happen. Looks like you passed this one.

  • @davehine724

Where does refinishing the masts and decks fall on your to-do list? Everything else looks so good!
