The owner was assassinated, what is found is what ‘they’ want to be found. You can’t sink any reasonable size yacht in 60 seconds, never mind a yacht that big, the Bulkheads would slow water travel through the boat long enough for support to arrive. Good follow up plausable deniability footage/effort though 👍🏻

    Hi there!
I heard rumours that the foldable keel was pulled up, or half way. Is this confirmed?? As for stability, the lower the keel, the better balance, so, if it was not as maximum low, could this be part of its demize……Also, such a expensive ship, will she be lifted??
    Regards,
    Mikke

  • @KathyG205

Fascinating video! I really liked, that you have showed us the pictures of the unsunken yacht (bridge, doors) and explained what the divers are exactly doing there! Thank you! Great job!

  • @rogerbyrne9040

It's so scary to watch, how this beautiful dream yacht turned into a tragedy. I feel so sorry for the people lost on her. Those divers are are so skillfull and brave, they earn every penny they make and have my respect.

  • @McQuokka

Need to let this alone mate…stop monetizing off the terrible disaster. Move on. You are not an investigator

  • @rows3063

Great analysis, thank you for taking the time to put this together.

  • @loladavinci1243

Based upon the Bridge footage, it would appear that the computer displays remain illuminated despite the passage of a fairly significant amount of time. Are they encased in a protective material of some type? Otherwise, I should think that they would no longer be functional.

  • @pkane5472

I wonder several things about this unraveling story. One, why are they spending resources and risking divers to poke around inside when they have already said they are going to raise the yacht? Two, is it not possible to use a remote device of some sort with light and camera to get video? (after opening a hatch that is)…..

  • @rollerbones1

Could that WT door to the engine control room get closed by gravity as the ship rolled? I wonder as the window between control and ER looks to be broken from the control side and pushed towards ER side. Could an inrush of water have done this to the window and the WT door slid shut by gravity moments later?

  • @nathalie.1971

Thank you again for your clear and honest opinions. As this case goes on and becomes more clear, I think lawyers are preparing for a long battle and the CEO will come out on the losing end.. such tragedy for all those that lost their lives. 💔

    "Dog the door"

Can someone provide a clear meaning to above phrase.

    A (https://www.autodoorandhardware.com/Why-is-it-called-dogging-a-door–s/123632.htm )
"Dogging a door refers to the act of holding the latch bolt or push bar in the open position to allow for unrestricted access in and out of the door. "

    B) In wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_(engineering))

It has identified this phrase to mean :

"To dog the doors means to close the doors and secure them in the closed positions"

  • @b_altmann

Thanks for the updates – I like the objective approach of this channel

  • @patrickmalone9380

One thing I can't understand is why it did berth inside the marina surley money not a issue and they have spaces for visiting boats

  • @1Goldie

What's the odds there's a big hole discovered on the side of the yacht that it's lying on…. 💣

  • @robinbest4786

Surely all this should have waited until the boat's re-floated. Who will keep an accurate record of what these divers are doing ?

  • @mypuppydogtizzy1058

for the boat builder to say unsinkable is silly, when leisure is involved there are always compromises and human nature to take into account, one thing I can't understand is with today's computer power and the hight of the mast why there couldn't be an alarm warning of such a huge column of water falling out of the sky. PS if what iv heard before is true then training and procedures need to be updated, Emphasizing in rain doors first cushions and furniture second

  • @jasonswift7098

It was the fault of the crew who left 2 watertight doors open during the storm, those are the facts.

  • @ruger8412

Once again mother nature proves she will always be stronger than we often realize.

  • @GlendoveerEngineering

Please lets remember this is a tragerdy and lives were lost. As a qualified skipper & engineer i would prefer the vessel be raised intact for undisturbed investigations. Seeing divers tamper underwater is concerning and may taint a enquiry investigation, which could avoid key lessons learned. I do hope the actions of the divers does not cause a loss of vital information to future investigation study which could make important life saving recomendations for future safety on many other such vessels.

  • @TheRealRedRooster

It should be obvious that the CEO of Navi was talking out of his backside when he started to blame the crew of the boat for the sinking…

  • @alastairhill3356

Excellent summary, very surprising that we haven’t yet seen the port side of the hull and the stern to conclude status of openings. The behaviour of Perini Navi has been rather disgusting and disrespectful.

  • @RiverHaus2001

So no proof that all the water tight doors were closed. Or the windows or the slide out entry at the water line. A short bit of not much actually.. more helpful had they examined the exterior of the vessel first

  • @047678

You say the boat is sitting on its right or starboard side. If this is so, it must be lying on the external door, so the divers could not enter there. No?

  • @christophmahler

Since the engines weren't running, there would have been no reason why the exhaust latches were opened, either – leaving the lavish 'down well', and above average mast height hull construction as the only weak points in the most unlikely event of sudden capsizing.

Of course, footage is incomplete, fragmented and prone to interpretation, because no modern camera can record more than a few seconds before memory cards will have to be changed (as one is made to believe, here)…

  • @charleswhitehead7441

The headphones/ear defenders are buoyant ! They are actually floating up against the longitudinal bulkhead.
Having worked on several Perini Navis , my immediate thoughts were the vulnerability of the aft saloon doors. If they were left open or opened on their own due to gravity then that is a four square meter hole for the sea to enter once knocked flat by the exceptional weather conditions.
With regard to the "shell door", it would seem that this is of little importance as the boat was knocked flat to starboard, thus raising that door above the water, not below it. It would also be very surprising for it to be left open at night, for security reasons.
