I heard this story years ago… And it always broke my heart . Because. These people where Soo kind.. so beautiful and loved each other like no other… They where also so kind to these heartless people and they where repaid by murder…they didn't deserve this… They deserved to sail the sea and see all the beautiful sights…not be shot and thrown away like trash…

My dad was stationed on Palmyra Island during WW2 when he was in USMC. Died in 2009.
Mac and Muff Graham case was a true crime staple in 80's and 90's. Forgotten nowadays. Forgotten that Palmyra Island was central to case. While Buck and Stephanie were tried and convicted, it's a shame Mac's remains were never found. And that the full story was never sussed out. Also forgot Vince Bugliosi was Stephanie's lawyer.
*Note for next trip-take a cat! Rats on a deserted desert island? I don’t know why but I wasn’t ready for that tidbit Jiles! I know sailors used to make sure there was always a ships cat on board for rats but I didn’t think about the islands themselves. Thanks for another great tale.
