I grew up in Fareham where Bennett was MP. Although my family were uniformly Conservative, they detested "Reggie Bennett" who they saw as useless. This is an insight to a side of the man of which I was totally unaware.

He said all the Brixham trawlers have gone now, but Provident is still offering sailing trips around west coast of Scotland, 90 years later.
