FL crab pots are the worst. I don't think FL allows people to put them in the ICW, I just don't think there is any enforcement. People just put their pots down where they want. The west coast of FL is just miserable to sail. I usually run 50 miles off shore to avoid them (even though you aren't supposed to place pots past 12 miles) yet I still see the occasional pot.

That first derelict sailboat parked by Blackwater siren bar. It was originally owned by the original owner of the Blackwater siren bar. Apparently there was some really good parties on it and they accidentally sailed it into the bar a couple of times. It was in pretty rough shape I believe after a hurricane and ended up sinking. A salvage crew wanted to raise it, but by the time they got to it a an endangered species of bird at seven Nest up in the Crow's Nest. Nobody can touch it so it ended up in the condition that it's in now.
