Could go on and on about why I left my former best friend! In short, she only thinks about herself. I've supported her a whole year when her marriage was falling, listened to her talking about it and leaving no room for any other topic. A WHOLE YEAR! But the rare times I talk about something that matters to me, she just… literally acts as if I said nothing. She can't listen to me for 5 seconds…
The worst part? I'm the one with ADHD… She's neurotypical…

someone who seems to never be supportive. i realizing having an echo chamber isnt helpful in seeing everyones point of view, but if you call them a friend they should have your back. opens my eyes to people who just want attention and don't care to actually be supportive. also phony people. people who hide that you are hanging out and dont call you friend in front of others.

Had a friend that I met and we got along great!! One day she asked for a ride home and I said no problem. That was when she told me that her husband didn't like black people and I could drop her off down the path to keep from causing trouble. Told her to call someone else and ended the friendship on the spot!

I was bi at the time and my then husband was abusive and she knew it. One night while drunk and crying she pulled up my shirt. I told her no and she lost it. She attempted to call my husband and tell all my secrets. Unless I met her at a hotel she would tell on me. I just stopped talking to her. I miss her friendship but now I know she had a sick fantasy about me.
