Those knots were custom made to be ambiguous and deceptive, to lead in many different directions and ultimately lead to the massive confusion that underlies the entire case. There is TOO MUCH evidence. That’s the genius at work here. The solution will become self-evident once the noise is filtered and the remaining elements guide the way. DNA cannot ALONE solve this.

These things come to my mind:
Was anything said if the Ramsay’s were drinking; and if so, were they inebriated at the Christmas Day party that took them away from their home?
The suitcase that may have served as a step up to get out of the window. …. Was it to be used to pack for their trip?
How many days was their stay planned for?
Did they each keep clothes at the Michigan home? Was there house help there? Was the site searched for clues about sailing…. Knot-making practice by the children etc.
Did they routinely use separate suitcases when they went there or lack everyone’s things in one? (Would think not.)
The note …. If a true ransom note. …. Would have been written before she died. The death probably was not part of the original
Plan! That would be why no call came in!!
If it were a true kidnapping plan, how was the perpetrator planning to get her out of the house? Walk out an exterior door? Alarms going off?
She would have had to be sedated to drag a fighting child out that window!
What about the little dog? Where was the dog during all this period of time?
I have a Bichon Frize! He would bark and carry on if anything . Anyone came into the room is the dog stayed in her room. Or, if kept in another area of the house, ours would bark if he heard someone walking about in the house….. even a family member!!
John said he was up with the son working on a model and the wife went to bed. Did Jonbene come back down stairs and the two kids then eat the pineapple? Did she bring her pillow downstairs?
Was the “model” being put together investigated? Where was it found?
Might the three have gone down to the basement train room?
Might John and son gone back upstairs leaving her behind ….. John thinking she had gone back upstairs to bed by herself … but the intruder grabbed her and knocked her out ….. but she died from the blow…. Plan foiled…
The intruder placed the kidnap letter as composed earlier on the stairs and took off as all had gone wrong…..
When John looks at his wife in the pictures provided in various interviews, his gaze is suspect. There is no heartfelt sympathy in that gaze.
John has something in his demeanor and body language that indicates to me he knows that it is business related nefarious goings on. Did he slight someone involved in the original product development that lead to his wealth building history?
Does John have a controlled hot temperament? When in the family was away from outside eyes, was he arguing, volatile, impatient with the lack of order and good housekeeping his wife couldn’t achieve even with house help! Kids don’t wet their beds unless under stress…. Or they have repeated urinary track infections due to a physical reason ….. or the mother’s neglect in not getting them to the doctor, see that they took the RXs as prescribed?? !!!???
Was John continually angered by his second wife’s lack of focus and abilities in running the household and properly, responsibly attending to the important things the children needed?

The young boy hit her on the head. She was bleeding. He used the stick and cord as a tourniquet. He tightened it to stop the bleeding. He learned about tourniquets in his Cub Scout first aide lesson. Too young or scared or panicked to realize it would choke her.

This has always confused me as I have only known 2 handled garotts..this looks like a timber knot used to pull heavy objects..all scouts taught this and sticks used.
