Rough race this year. A lot of broken hearts for various reasons. Still. Given the opportunity and knowing the risks, I'd go.

It was always on my bucket list to do this race as I've 2 Fastnets, 11 Newport-Bermuda, 7 Marion-Bermuda, 1 Annapolis-Bermuda & 2 Trans-Atlantics.
Sad to know that 2 crew died during heavy air gybes. I've 2 good friends who were also very experienced die from accidental gybes.

Sorry guys, but that’s one of the most boring coverages of anything I’ve ever seen. Biggest aussie yacht race deserves better.
Deepest sympathy to the families and friends of the two sailors who have lost their lives at sea. This is a very sad time for the global sailing community.
