If you have a HF receiver listened out daily on 7.120 MHz LSB at 06:35 and 11:35 UTC for an updated SAWS wx forecast for coastal waters up to 50 NM seaward broadcast by ZS5V Marjoke, ZS3WL Woody and ZS1CH Peter in Mossel Bay.

Sailed in the inaugural Richards Bay to Durban race on a Red Amber, a M&W 35. 1976 when I was a student at Natal U. Bit of nostalgia! Richards Bay was very different then.
