Hi guys. Great to see a vid come out. Hope you are all safe and enjoying the trip. To be honest I would DEFINITELY had a spare kite that you blew. It’s your bread and butter. And I would ALWAYS take it down overnight as when the conditioner change it when you hit squalls, you don’t want to be pulling down a pain in the arse kite flogging around in the middle of the night in the dark. Always reef before bed. Overnight slow and safe is good and rolling the dice is bad.
Just my opinion but one which should keep you safe and sound while the sun is down.

Good job everyone completing this big voyage despite the rough conditions and bad luck. The sea gods need to get their act together. You paid them homage and they didn't do you right. Good thing you had a buddy boat, and the dolphins don't forget their friends. Indonesia has lots of beauty but dangers too, so keep on your game.
