If any of the accounts on reddit are true, it would appear Captain Paul is a serious narcissistic jerk. I can't say for sure I never worked for him but it always seemed everyone got along and had a good time together if you watched any of their YouTube content. However you can never use a 30 minute video as reality, things are not always as they seem. My biggest concern is the crew members that were hurt. I enjoyed watching that channel just like I enjoy your channel. I appreciate you staying on top of this story and giving us updates. I hope Natalia speaks out soon to let us all know how she's doing. If you were ever injured in an accident I would hope you would keep your viewers up to date on how you were doing.

I was wondering too why he reposted this. But then I remembered he responded to some earlier comments that he's reposting stuff that he has 2 channels, presumably with the same or similar content. So I just clicked "Do not recommend this channel" Problem solved. I should only see posts from one of his channels.

I would bet Capt. Paul partied when he should have refrained-especially as operating the tender. Had to be pretty lit up to screw up that much. I’ve owned many boats and cardinal rule is no booze until parked and verified the hook is set.

Nina Wilson the second Chef who was on leave at the time of the incident has confirm on her You Tube channel (The Crew Chef) that she will join the yaght at the beggining or february as planed. She did'nt say if she would be allowed to make her very tasty chef video on board. She said that she was in contact with members of the crew , including some who were injured in that incident. I hope she will be able to resume her great chef videos.

Most super yachts have 3 types of Captain- a regular Capt who runs the boat, a delivery captain who comes on when the boat needs to be delivered but the regular Capt is on vacation, and then an admin Captain who is technically qualified ie. He holds a 3k Master cert but who is probably not experienced enough to run the boat or deal with guests. I’m guessing this new guy, who previously a junior officer is just a temp Capt to comply for insurance

Tyler seems like a nice guy but he was only JUST being trusted with his first solo voyage a couple of months ago and even then, Paul was back on board for the docking. Is he really experienced enough to take over at this point?
