Only just found this channel, I'm over in the UK and been boating for lots of year but still find useful snippets of info, very informative, as they say, every day is a school day!
In fact we did bare boat rent a 50 (something) ft trawler yacht our of Sarisota some years ago, we went South but cant really remember where we ended up (Boca something I think).
It took a few hours to get used to the markers for the ICW and of course, you have the regular red's and green's the wrong way around over there anyway (ha ha) but have a great time.

A bucket list item is doing the Great Loop, even though my personal experience is limited to canoes, my dad's old aluminum fishing boat (not a bass boat) and sailing a 27' Beneteau on LI Sound 30+ years ago LOL If I ever play the right numbers you're going to be getting a call from me!
