This is all bs. In heavy seas you tie the sea anchor to the bow not the stern unless you’re trying to sink the boat. And the boat that runs aground was probably trying to enter the inlet where you would never use any kind of anchor. Just bad seamanship.

Yes, one anchors you in place the other anchors you to the surface of the water. Is my answer right? Im going off common sense! I know nothing about boating so I have no buisness on the water piloting a boat but thats what my brain says is the answer. So, am I correct or no?
