    I do know that The Chinese leader spent time there when President Trump first took office.

18. I’ve read everything about Marjorie Merriweather Post. I think she would be appalled at how Mar-a-Lago is perceived today. Too bad we didn’t take up her suggestion and use it as a “ Camp David of Florida”.

20. I believe you did an excellent job of describing her life.Although it would have been interesting if you mentioned one negative thing about her because it seemed like she was perfect which I think is actually impossible for a human being to be.
    As for the import of president trump having bought marlago, it did occur to me that miss merryweather post was probably smiling in heaven and saying:
    I told you so. I also think that President Trump must have been aware of the history of marlago and is also smiling, in this case , not in heaven, but on earth.😊

22. What a wonderful work you gave us this dreary day in Florida. As I sit quite close to her magnificent Mar-a-lago, I can’t help but picture all of her many accomplishments. Along with her political and philanthropic endeavors, she had one of the or perhaps the most magnificent private jewelry collections in the United States. Her collection rivaled everyone she met, even the likes of the Dutches of Windsor, the former Mrs. Simpson formerly of Baltimore. She was independent until her very last day. Thank you for this informative and enjoyable documentary. As for my surmising about her thoughts of her most precious gem currently owned and sometimes occupied by a president, I think she’d be okay. It may have been turned into a private club and home, but it’s being preserved and filled with politics. She tried so diligently to do everything necessary to have it become the Winter White House and it’s pretty darn close.

25. She was amazing! It’s just sad that Federal and State Government “tossed” Mara-a-Lago aside. As controversial as it may seem, thank you President Trump for saving such a beautiful estate to live on in history.

26. A very American story. I appreciated her love and commitment to her family and community and mankind in general. And always loved Post Grape Nuts. I think she would love that Mar-a-Lago is a vibrant political hub known around the world and beautifully preserved, appreciated and enjoyed.
