A very American story. I appreciated her love and commitment to her family and community and mankind in general. And always loved Post Grape Nuts. I think she would love that Mar-a-Lago is a vibrant political hub known around the world and beautifully preserved, appreciated and enjoyed.

What a wonderful work you gave us this dreary day in Florida. As I sit quite close to her magnificent Mar-a-lago, I can’t help but picture all of her many accomplishments. Along with her political and philanthropic endeavors, she had one of the or perhaps the most magnificent private jewelry collections in the United States. Her collection rivaled everyone she met, even the likes of the Dutches of Windsor, the former Mrs. Simpson formerly of Baltimore. She was independent until her very last day. Thank you for this informative and enjoyable documentary. As for my surmising about her thoughts of her most precious gem currently owned and sometimes occupied by a president, I think she’d be okay. It may have been turned into a private club and home, but it’s being preserved and filled with politics. She tried so diligently to do everything necessary to have it become the Winter White House and it’s pretty darn close.
