1. That's incredible. I was thinking the other day your use of the word tragic might have been overstatement. From this video the word tragic is a gross understatement. I couldn't possibly feel more awful for these owners. Thanks for showing us these images, Paul.

2. Wow! Just wow. Super sad for those impacted. I know your primary concern is for others. Obviously you are very fortunate to have been spared by this but how are you and anchor girl doing? I would imagine it might rattle you guys quite a bit.

22. All I can say is WOWWW…that's terrible! I feel so bad for all those people who had their boats destroyed. Correct me if I'm wrong….was Boogaboo temporarily under one of those buildings last year? You guys will probably experience a type of survivors guilt….I know I would!
    On a positive note…no one was hurt! Take care!!

23. Hopefully the water and power that was lost as a result won't affect the remaining slips. Will the areas affected be reconstructed, or has the marina decided to fix the slips and keep them as open slips?

26. This is so tragic. As a boater myself I know this is disappointing to them. Having to get major biat repairs when kist about boating season is a bummer. Fortunate to store my boat at a lake house. At one tike i did store at marina. Found they tend to do the minimum to protect boats. Relying in the owners insurance. Iff the area to f your marina gets lots of snow each winter they should have contended for that with heat elements to keep snow cover on roof to a minimum

27. The marina needs to inspect the existing roof structure, the look of the other one seems to show a lot of old wood. Im assuming it was snow load that brought it down?

28. Heart breaking, I suspect many of the owners only have liability insurance especially the older boats. Unfortunately replacement costs won't cover a comparable boat in this market.

29. I want nothing to do with covered slips. The woman an her 5 kids killed in the 2020 Scottsboro marina disaster was a close friend sense childhood.

    That is much worse than I could have imagined. How awful for the people affected by this. Heart breaking 💔 just looking at this footage.

31. I would think twice about leaving my boat here. The structure looks like rotten wood. How old was this. Our marina is made of galvanized steel and concrete tiles.

34. Devastating! Just terrible, my heart goes out to everyone who lost their boat. Question now is, how do they come back from that and hopefully all were insured! Lot's of scrap and how do they get their belongings back? Do they fix, if possible, or give up on having a boat? So many questions that these owners are faced with. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

35. It's especially sad that those WOODEN boats CANNOT be replaced! And to think they were "under cover" to preserve them.
