The hull was designed to be a ketch . The rig became ridiculous when they changed it to a sloop and added an extra 20 feet to a normal sloop rig. With keel up the vessel would have been very tender in seaway, as it turned out, dangerously so.

From the position of the two cranes cradles 'my guess' is they are turning the hull to the upright position below
