I have no connection whatsoever to @JoséCatstar, but I was surprised to see that their comment — which raised valid concerns — was removed within an hour.

Regardless of opinion, it addressed real issues: the condition of the chainplates, the possible donation status of the vessel, and the questionable state of the engine.

These are not just cosmetic matters. They are central to the vessel’s safety, value, and long-term maintenance burden.

Transparency matters — especially with classic yachts, where beauty often coexists with hidden risk. Removing thoughtful criticism undermines open discourse and does little to build trust.

I wish I had the dough for this beauty!
I like everything about this sailboat.
As a chef I love that kitchen/galley.
Interesting about the propeller on an angle. I know I'm a newbie to sailing but I've never seen that before. Why would the manufacturer make it that way and not just come straight back like most sailboats?
Glad to see Canadian Ken again and I do hope his back is in better shape.
Question: why would the chain plate job be so expensive? Are they difficult to get at? Is this a job someone could do on their own?

Where did all the negative comments come from? Not the usual thing on these videos. I love the boat. I helped my Dad restore a 30' mahogany on oak 1958 sailboat, in the 1970's. Looked and sailed on another level. They push through the water rather than the feel of bobbing about like a cork. The bow wave is a steady waterfall sound as the boat pushes the water out of the way. Reminds me of a freight train when it gets up steam. The more modern boats I have sailed, just don't have the same feel. Thank you for another great video!

What a beautiful sailboat! At my age (76) the bright work alone would be a little too much for me to maintain, but for the right skipper, she is perfect!

I live in NJ, visited Maine and fell in love with it. Found out about the Maine trail and is a goal of mine to get on it.
