We sailed on the MSC Seashore in an interior room in the Yacht Club. It really does provide good value for money, but in all honesty, I don't think I'd want to book that room for a cruise any longer that the 7 day voyage we did. MSC's private island was V-E-R-Y nice!

MSC is good in the US but terrible in Europe. They speak multiple languages over and over and the ship is full of rude Europeans that’s don’t understand the concept of personal space.

The Yacht club offers you the spa, where in retreat, thats an extra, unless you book an aqua suite.

Excellent review! My wife and I sailed on the third sailing of the MSC World America in the Yacht Club. Our experience was not great. The pool was about the same size as the Retreat on Celebrity Edge. There was no buffet in the Yacht Club, only the cafe. There was limited staff so when we wanted a drink on sun deck we had walk down a deck to the bar at the cafe. We were not able to see a single comedy show all week. The first one filled up which is fine but we couldn’t book the next one on the app and the concierge desk couldn’t either. We had some of the same problems booking specially restaurants. Our butler didn’t answer calls three out of four times. I will say the Yacht Club restaurant was top notch and the staff there were extremely friendly and helpful. The Yacht Club Director Melania was super helpful but was always hurried. I don’t know if it was growing pains or what but our experiences with Rockstar on Virgin and Celebrity Retreat were much better.

I have been a Celebrity passenger for 20 years and last year changed to MSC and there is no doubt that the Yacht Club absolutely blows the Retreat out of the water, from arriving at the port to the dedicated areas, Retreat does not have its own full pool area, they do not serve a buffet lunch and breakfast and the Retreat lounge is like an airport waiting room compared to the Top Sail Lounge, Celebrity does not have a true 'ship within a ship' and the facilities on MSC are far superior and that is from someone who has done over 20 cruises with Celebrity in Celebrity Suites to the Penthouse. MSC know their market and they really know how to do it with style, it is a real all inclusive area with everything you need in one place.

We are trying MSC Yacht Club, on a SEA Class ship this Fall. Booked a short 4 night.
I would have to double check, but it seems that CELEBRITY was far far more expensive. That really did make the difference for us.
For the shorter Get-a-Way cruises, none of them visited Coco Cay, and they were all on older smaller ships like the Reflection.
So, none of those appealed. The Private Island and destinations on the MSC 4-Night were better.
For a week, or longer, I am quite sure that the rest of the experience on the MSC ship, would rule this out for us.
Just decided to give it a try, and found a decent rate.

It’s the Retreat for me. MSC is not an upscale line to me.

Great video. Wondering where you got the pricing stats for MSC Seascape in August 2026 since Seascape is homeported out of Galveston during that time and the only 2 ships sailing out of Miami are Seaside and World America during the month of August.
